We offer partial scholarships ranging from $600 – $2,650 USD ($800-$3,600 CAD) through the Hoffman Institute Scholarship Fund.
Scholarship awards are based on several factors, including financial need and one’s readiness to do the work involved in participating in the Process. We will look at your complete financial picture (your earnings, monthly expenses, savings, and debt) as well as how you intend to utilize what you will have gained from the Process.
They do. The number of scholarship awards are limited for each Process. Therefore, you must register for a Process date that occurs within six months of the date you receive the award. If you are unable to register and the award expires, you may reapply by following the same procedure.
Scholarship awards are deducted from the tuition balance amount of $4,850 USD ($6,500 CAD). You are responsible for the full $500 USD ($700 CAD) initial deposit and the award cannot be combined with any other offers.
Within one month of completing your Process, you must write a letter to the Scholarship Committee. In this letter, please describe what the experience meant to you, both personally and professionally. These letters provide important feedback to the Committee, as well as to those who have generously donated to our Scholarship Fund. Your letter will not be used for any other purpose without your permission, though we may excerpt a line or two for use in materials that explain the benefits of our Scholarship Fund.
We still REQUIRE a copy of the first two pages of the last tax return you filed, even if it was years ago. You can explain the circumstances on your application.
You are absolutely allowed to apply, but with your application you’ll need to provide official documentation (pay stubs, bank statements, etc.) of your earnings, monthly expenses, savings, and debt.
No. We require an application and the last tax return you filed in order to be considered.
Other than currency (USD vs CAD), there is no difference.
Yes. Our web portal is secured with SSL Certificate encryption and therefore far less vulnerable to hackers than email. The only staff members who will see your documents are the Scholarship Committee. Please feel free to black-out your social security (or social insurance) number. We do not need it.
